As the youngest son of Mr. Xavier & Mrs. Rosamma Xavier and Eight in the order of their ten children, young Martin although not very keen in academics’ during his school days, surprisingly did quite well. Even during his studentship , he had the business dwelling in his blood perhaps through his paternal gene and carried out small time tasks like acting as tourist guides etc thus trying to be self reliant by generating revenues for his pocket money. As a youth he was God fearing & followed the Christian doctrines being brought up in a well known Orthodox & traditional Christian family of Alleppey. After his graduation in SD College, he completed his MBA in Bangalore and obtained a Diploma in Business administration from UK.

Martin’s eldest brother Mr. Tomy Xavier was instrumental in bringing young Martin to Bahrain which was the starting point of his official carrier path. At a young age of 23, after struggling initially with some temporary jobs, seeing his dynamism, he was picked up by M/s Almoayyed Group Chairman (Mr. Yousef Almoayyed himself the true founder of the group). As the youngest & dynamic Manager within the group, he learned his way through his challenging encounters & practical experiences churning him to be a very mature Businessman. After a span of nearly 7 years, he decided to be more self reliant, an independent businessman like his brother & father.

With this intension Martin moved to Qatar to spin off a completely new, unknown and quite challenging business venture within the electromechanical domain together with his technical partner who also moved from Bahrain. After the establishment of the company M/s Unigulf later changed to M/s Continental Cooling Company and followed by his sincere and hard work together with the divine touch from almighty, his business grew year after year. With his unique business skills, he established himself as a self made businessman expanding his business ventures into firms like m/s Continental Cooling Co ( Electro Mechanical Contracting)., M/s Terabytes ( IT, Application software, web solutions and ERP solutions), M/s Concool Systems (building automation, security systems, public addresses, Audio Visual system and life safety systems) , M/s Continental Inspectors (certifying painting, welding and mechanical inspections )& M/s India Travel Line (holiday packaging in India Travel Line).

As an enthusiastic & young entrepreneur of these companies, he was faced with various challenges which he always managed to overcome thus leading & inspiring his team of employees (400 plus) to generate & share fruits of the labor. Under Martin’s leadership, his companies grew within the country & expanded internationally .This illustrious career growth & his dynamism in every field he laid hands on was very evident to all and gave him a distinguished place within the society. Being a true activist of various social, cultural and charitable organizations, he is well known within his community and is actively involving in their activities by organizing and participating in all their endeavors. As a long standing parish council member, a spiritual advisor to the Youth forum, a strong Patron / Coordinator for the cultural association of the community he became a strong spokesman for the community.

As a well known businessman of Qatar, a close associate within Indian, he is the official Patron of AICC ( All India Cultural Congress ) - a subsidiary wing of the Indian National Congress Qatar Chapter through which he tries to extend his charitable services to a cross section of the needy Indian people within Qatar irrespective of religion ,cast or country.

Martin was bestowed by his father to look after the Manakkalssery kudumbam and to enrich the relationship between the family members which he has taken up as his personal Oath & is determined to work unto the end for the same. He is married with Jasmine and has two children Xavier and Jerome. Xavier is gifted to this couple on 20th May 1999 and Jerome on 29th July 2002.

Jasmine is from the Manakkil family in Panangad. Her father Jerome was the Head of the Chemistry Department in St. Albert’s College Ernakulam and her mother Vicotria was the Head Mistress of High school Panangad and she is from the Kelanthara family of late Major Arch Bishop Joseph Kelanthara of Kochi. Jasmine has a brother Jaison who is married with Reeja.

Apart from his business & other socio-cultural activities, Martin has a personal interest in event management & interior design. Being a true lover of music, nature and beauty around, his fascination for reading books and inspiring others with ideas through the narration of apt stories, are some of his spare time hobbies. As a good partner, Jasmine is more concerned with family responsibilities, especially in maintaining the good relation with relatives and friends, an affectionate mother and a social worker too.
